At 21 Steve Jobs co-founded Apple computers from his parents’ garage. Within 4 years Jobs was worth a
quarter billion dollars – with a ‘b’. After being forced out of Apple, he bought Pixar for 10 million and went on to
sell it for $7.4 billion. When Apple begged him back, Jobs turned the almost bankrupt company into the world’s most
valuable, with a market cap of $342 billion and a larger cash reserve than the US treasury! But you’re right. It IS
bullshit that your parents won’t buy you an iPad Mini for your birthday.
